Essays for Stanford

Hello everybody!
I am an international student from Germany who wants to apply to some American universities, including Stanford.
I need someone of you guys, preferrably a current Stanford student or alumnus, who could preefread my short essays for Stanford.
Thank you very much in advance for any help offered!

I'm sure you'll hear from some Stanford folks, but something you should know is that US universities really want your 'voice' in your app essays (being international myself, I know that is not the case in many other countries, where they are looking for a more formal style) So if you haven't read up on this particularly literary genre :), do a little web searching and reading - it's definitely a unique form of essay! Overall, they are looking for a personal feel to your essay, so make sure you write it that way.

Hi Ailey!
Thanks for your advice. Well, I have finished the essays already ... I just need someone to read it and tell me what I can do better.
Do you think you could do that, too?

By the way: You said you're also an international student? Where are you from if I may ask?

I'm not a student, I'm the mother of a student applying this year... I'd be glad to read your essays, if you like, but the other piece of advice I would add is that someone who knows you is best, say an English teacher, because he/she could tell if your voice is indeed coming through.
