4.4 GPA - 27/432 (top 6.3%) - all honors or AP(this will go up, I have had almost a 5.0 so far this year)
ACT - 33, currently studying to improve my math and science score on that thing.
1930 SAT, - unsure if I will send this as my ACT score is much better.
Personal: white , male, lgbt, income >100,000

  1. Consistent Chemistry Tutoring (certain i could get amazing rec from chem teacher)
  2. Formed a business with my sister(job) grew from 2 founders to 5 employees in less than year, profitable.
  3. Science UIL, BioOly, ChemOly, SciBowl, Math Club, SEEMATH,
  4. Attended a Biotechnology camp in the summer (BioForce) at the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing (Texas A&M).
  5. I build computers and design apps as a hobby.
  6. NJHS Vice President and future NHS officer (waiting on that, applications haven’t started yet)
  7. Invited to participate in Stanford Summer College (could not due to $, not sure if this means anything…)
  8. Possible intern at TAMU this summer for some science , figuring it out currently
  9. Interned at JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund) fixed printers, computers, office stuff. Invited back for their major events due to satisfactory work
  10. Silver Medal in National Latin Exam, Honors in the National Spanish Exam
  11. Varsity Tennis Freshman Year
  12. Co-founded the GSA at my school
  13. Taking some programming at Community College this summer, already have strong Java knowledge

Chance me for CompSci please, I really appreciate it. I’m not worried about general admission because I have auto admit with my class rank(I am a Texas resident), only worried about school and major of choice.

You are a junior and a lot of things on your list are things you plan to do. It is very difficult to chance someone for CS. Your ACT is very good. If you have scored that well this early you will probably do even better in the spring. Send all scores because they use the one that gives you the highest academic index. Your rank will be the issue. Search this forum for academic index or AI to understand how UT factors ranks and grades to get to a score they use to determine admittance to a major. There is also a personal achievement index or PAI. Learn about it too. Number 7 is offered to anyone who scored well on PSAT or AP tests. Your ECs are all well related to CS but be ready to discuss that in Essay C. Good luck!
