Estimated Non-Trad MD & DO school Admits?

I read the entire thread of Non-Trad student success stories on SDN and were really moved about their determination on pursuing a medical career. All of them had a low gpa and low MCAT past and in the post-bacc they all excelled, most of them had straight As when working full time and going to school part time. It was an eye opener.

After I read those stories, I kept thinking how many applicant could there be in any application cycle? since this is the first time I explored this sector, I have no clue where to look for stats like this, your guidance is needed.

Here are links to DO (2011-14) and MD (table 6) stats of age of matriculated students. Although age alone doesn’t define nontraditional app, maybe you could info as starting point to answer your question regarding number of applicants of each. Age 30?
