Has anybody on here had experience with buying/renting eTextbooks? I recently got an iPad and now have the option of renting my textbooks via the Kindle app. I was wondering if textbooks were any harder to read/study on an iPad. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

With text books I like to go back to review material. Like, I may want to go reference something three pages ago. It is slightly harder to do that on my tablet.

The second problem with it is that a few classes of mine have been open textbook on the tests, and I would not have been able to use my tablet in those cases.

Otherwise, I had no problems with the books I bought (or not so much) for my tablet last semester.

Yeah, I’ve noticed page-flipping is a pain on the tablet. I’ve checked and this class doesn’t have open book exams, so I’m in the clear there. So you have had a mostly positive experience then?

Yep. Probably going to get three of my books on my tablet after I look at the costs.
