Ethnomusicology and Museum Studies Dilemma

I am currently an undergraduate at Texas Tech University studying ethnomusicology. I'm coming into my last year and am trying to decide where to go from here. I really enjoy working in the Southwest Collections Library and think that I would really enjoy working in a museum collections, curating, preservation, or exhibit context. I have many different interests in the field of ethnomusicology and have experience in many other fields such as anthropology, linguistics, sociology, religious studies, and history. Although I have talked to a few of the professors here and emailed at least a dozen program directors I still haven't really come to any conclusions. I am wondering: 1) Which is more marketable-- a certification in Museum Studies or a Master's in Museum Studies? 2) Should I go for a Master's in Ethnomusicology or first a Master's in Museum Studies? 3) Are there any Museum Studies programs that allow for a concentration in Ethnomusicology? 4) Should I consider a Master in Interdisciplinary Studies and then a PhD in Ethnomusicology? It seems that there are hundreds of possibilities but I can't seem to get a handle on what would be right for me. ANY advice/input is much appreciated...

I am not sure I can answer your questions. My daughter graduated from college 2 years ago with a degree in Ethnomusicology. She decided to take a couple of years off to make her decision as to what she wanted to do with her degree. Last year she had a wonderful internship at the Smithsonian Institute working with an ethnomusicologist. For the past year she did an AmeriCorp position and will be starting grad school this fall at Indiana University for a dual degree in Ethnomusicology and Library Science. She thinks that once she starts the eethno program it will become clearer if she want to peruse a PhD. Not sure if this info was helpful, I just thought I would share the path she took.
