Eureka! Why didn't I "discover" these products sooner?!

Take care with those Bounce sheets. They end up giving off a sticky residue and the lint from your clothes will build up in the dryer ducts leading outside. It is amazing how much builds up in there and is a definite fire hazard and makes it longer for you to dry your clothes.

Don’t know anything about the bars.

I have a new dryer with a very good lint filter - I am religious about taking care of the lint filter.

We cannot use liquid fabric softener - we break out in a rash.

I didn’t adopt the Bounce dryer bar right away, but I got very use to the convenience very quickly.

I checked everywhere for the dryer bars! As soon as they were not available one place and I realized what was happening, I missed being able to get more. I bought my last one at Kroger, and when I went back for more they were out. I also checked their customer service counter before checking at Publix.

Kroger and Publix could only get the dryer bar with a pallet order - could not buy a little quantity.

@SOSConcern Amazon has both Bounce and Gain dryer bars

Thanks @yaupon!

Did you see the prices???Selling out inventory and driven up prices!

What ever happened to the good old Ped Egg?? It was the fad a few years ago for calloused heels.

Aha, you’ve managed to combine foot care and the forbidden “egg” word into a single post.

Baby Foot Day 3: soaked again, no peeling yet!

For all my ‘close friends’ here - Mom2ck found the Bounce dryer bars on Walgreens on-line, limit 3 at the ‘normal’ price of $5.49 each. If you order over $35 (and under 20 lb), free shipping. I ordered tonight and may order some more next week, if still available.

Ped Egg is available on-line at Walgreen’s too  They sell a number of the TV and popular items…

How do the dryer bars work with things like towels that are not recommended to dry with softener? Or at least that’s what I’ve heard.

Yesterday’s eggs came out perfect! DS is happy there are two ready and waiting for him for breakfast this morning. Looking forward to trying soft versions this weekend.

The dryer bar - there is a plastic sleeve that sticks to the dryer, and which the bar slides into.

If you don’t want the bar in the dryer for a load, you can slip it out of its sleeve.

I really poo-pooed using the dryer bar, but once I used it I have been hooked.

Egg thingy report ( Nordic microwave egg cooker for those who missed all the raves)
Followed directions 8 minutes clearly not long enough, will now reread and increase time as suggested by wise CCers. Probably 10 minutes - yolks gooey in middle.
They peeled so easily- as promised!

Baby Foot Day 4 - more soaking and then some peeling just starting to begin on left foot.

Haha - I did somehow miss the egg talk pages back and keep seeing reference to it - I don’t hard boil my eggs so it has been astounding to me how much talk there is over that perfectly peelable egg!!!

Thanks for the update Madison85. Will be interesting to see how effective yours is since you did a two-fer with one boot (right?).

Correct - first foot was the left one - and that’s the one starting to peel…maybe the right is a day behind.

Baby Foot Day 5 - more peeling on left than right continues. Peeling only occurs after soaking or showering. Next time I will leave the reused boot on the second foot longer.

Didn’t someone mention steamers here? The Rowenta Pro Precision Steam Station is today’s Amazon Deal of the Day. Regularly $400, now $179.99.
