@nottelling I agree that it sounds weird, but I have found that sometimes that works. I know that sometimes I can put more Sharpie marker on something to “soften” a previous Sharpie marking and then can wipe away.
Those tips aren’t mine. I should have included the link.
I saw a lecturer use that hair of the dog trick when he accidentally wrote on the whiteboard with a sharpie permanent marker. When he figured it out, he just kept on lecturing, re-writing over the area with the Sharpie, and rubbing with paper towels while it was still wet. I don’t remember a word of the lecture (or even the topic) but the mental image of him doing that for fifteen or twenty minutes while lecturing has stuck with me. He got it all off.
Thank you for all the tips! So far, I’ve ordered Tulsi tea (loose-leaf version, Amazon Subscribe and Save), scrubdaddy (Amazon S&S), Awesome cleaner (Amazon), and e-cloths (from manufacturer on sale).
And I’ve put e-cloths and Opi Drip Dri (for my daughter-I’m starting a “Pamper Yourself” basket to give her when she returns from Peace Corps Service this fall) in my Amazon shopping cart. It’s also been five days since I used Baby Foot and it’s working!
There are some reviews of it that say it caused foot infections… actually, bacteria living in the skin surface did - Baby Foot use caused micro tears in the skin through which this bacteria got into the bloodstream. So be careful!!!
There are also these really insane birthday candles from China. They spin, open into a flower shape, and sing Happy Birthday with tinny sounding music. Take cover!
Furminator is a brush that gets the dead soft undercoat fur out of your pet before the pet has a chance to deposit it on carpets and furniture. Most regular brushes can’t get it out! It is amazing what I can brush out of my short haired cats during the non-shedding seasons. The cats seem to love the brushing sessions.
We were going to use one of those spinning candles for an elderly relative’s milestone birthday…until we read all the warnings and were afraid we would injure the celebrant and her peers if they couldn’t move out of the way fast enough. The nurse now has a lovely candle to use at home!
Thanks, I undestand the rules, and i dont link to personal blogs. It is a picture of GSD (they don’t appear shed much) and the pile of fur furminated out of it - just as large as the dog. It seemed to be the page owned by the makers of Furminator. Many companies use social media to engage their customer base… I hope someday CC will be able to differentiate between personal media and commercial content used in the context of discussions (like this thread - centered on “products”). It is a bit silly when we can’t link to the official White House Facebook page or a Twitter post by the US Patent Office.
