I think you have a good GPA and GRE. If you are going to be applying to EE grad program then you should have good research experience. I hear that EE grad school is competitive so there will be many applicant with high scores. In order to make yourself stand out, I would say you could get good research and excellent recommendations and i think you will be good to go.

I don’t have extensive research experience or projects. I can try to get good recommendations. So in this regard, can you suggest me schools that I should apply to? Help rank them in terms of “CERTAIN”, “MODERATELY SAFE”, and “AMBITIOUS”.

And please name schools that I may apply for in Spring 2014 with funding opportunities. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for late reply.
Look at the link that I just posted. I think applying to top 10 schools such as MIT, Stanford, GaTech would be ambitious. Other top 30 would be moderately safe and rest of the top 50 schools should be easier to get into.

But I think you should send an email to the graduate admission contact person of the school that you wish to attend. They will give you best advice, someone them will even meet with you and look at your transcript and resume and tell you where you can improve to get into their school.
