Requiem For A Dream

Josh Groban - You Raise Me Up
August Rush - Everydamnthing
The music in Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium.

God, that movie was beautiful.

Yes. At All State Band this year, our conductor composed a piece of memory of a band director killed in a drunk driving accident. Not to be cheesy, but people in the band really put all their emotions into playing the piece. Our director kept telling us to “play our lives” and that’s exactly what happened. The night before the concert, many members of the band had tears rolling down their cheeks while we played the piece, and I was one of them!

^ That is awesome.

Desperado - the Eagles. Cuz it basically describes my senior year so far (metaphorically)

Anything by Elliott Smith is beautiful and moves me to tears with repeated listens.

^lolwut?

Now We Are Free by Hans Zimmer from Gladiator (every damn time)

Transatlanticism and Grapevine Fires by Death Cab for Cutie
The Blower’s Daughter by Damien Rice
Ice Dance by Danny Elfman from Edward Scissorhands

I watched August Rush for around the fifth time on Thursday. And yes, it always makes me cry.

You could be happy - Snow Patrol

I will follow you into the dark - Death cab for cutie

The person I responded lolwut to deleted their post. Now I look like I’m questioning the choice of Elliot Smith, WHICH I AM NOT. =P

Run by Snow Patrol is also a good tear jerker.

haha, hilsa, your clarification is awesome
were u questioning hotbetch, by any chance?

I’m Already There - Lonestar
Time in a Bottle - Jim Croce

@yawn: how can you not like amir?! lol.

Yes, smarteeangel101 I was. I bet hotbetch got banned. Obvious ■■■■■.

He reminds me of my brother.

Hellz yeah. But honestly, Grand Finale (from the same soundtrack) is so much better, even if it doesn’t have as pretty a title.

Anyways, to all you people mentioning August Rush:

vomit

^^lol, agreed.

Yeah hilsa, I was about to cry!

not gonna read the whole thread, but i think anyone that can appreciate beauty and/or art (some would argue the 2 are synonymous) would’ve been moved to tears by music at least once in their lives.

sometimes something just seems so perfect you don’t know how it could exist in such a flawed world

Soundly agreed.

Never really cried over songs but these 2 get me kinda emotional
“Play Crack the Sky” and “Jesus Christ”- Brand New

surprised no one said Gradutation Song (Friends Forever)- Vitamin C

That one Sad song in Casper the Friendly ghost which is actually a horribly depressing movie from Casper’s point of view.

And the whole Mad World sequence of Donnie Darko.
