I will admit that I have.

eva cassidy’s ‘fields of gold’
billy joel’s ‘leningrad’
sometimes jeff buckley’s ‘hallelujah’
this one aussie singer who i heard once on the radio in australia, then never heard ever again. don’t remember her name or the name of the song.

Yes, I have many times.

Yeah, definitely.
-Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles
-Grapevine Fires by Death Cab for Cutie

just that song “you raise me up”. (only at funerals though)

yep .

The Scientist by Coldplay

we belong together-gavin degraw
going under-evanescence
that song pictures of you
tons more…

on your porch/the format

the freaking movie… august rush… it wasn’t even that good.

No never.

But I once was so moved by a piece of music that I actually got down on my knees and bowed, with my forehead touching the floor.

And I don’t even bow for religious purposes.

It was pretty f-cking amazing music.

Ugh, I can’t stand that song. But I can’t hate on ya for crying to a song at a funeral. That’d make me a bad person. :X

Christmas Shoes by Bob Carlisle

I’m not a country fan, but the song comes on the radio during Christmas time and its so sad. And I don’t bawl or anything, my eyes might well up a bit.

This is the most irritating song in existence.

ok.

(10 chars)

i would have to say that those songs are more depressing than they are sad

^Yeah, depressing is probably the word I was looking for, agreed.

Delicate by Damien Rice used to make me cry every time I listened to it. I think sometimes The Departure or The Other Side composed by Michael Nyman made me cry, but that might only be when I’m watching the movie the songs are in (Gattaca).

When I was watching the Jake & Amir epi Amir’s Birthday, I cried when Joshua Radin’s Winter came on, but that was mainly because poor Amir was so sad and Jake was breaking his heart!

Ugh, I can’t stand Amir. =/

Some people deserve to have their hearts broken. >:[

susan boyle anyone?

yes. most recently by Magic (Ben Folds) [A Cappella] - University of Chicago Voices In Your Head-- its on youtube. its a little too digitally altered, but that lends it a more ethereal air in my opinion. either way, its very beautiful. it makes me want to go there :)
