We were supposed to write a 5-page history paper on the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution. She gave us like a week and a half to do it. I kept saying "Oh, I'll do it later today" or "I'll work on it tomorrow, definitely". I ended up doing the entire paper the night before. Got the only A+ on the paper out of the entire class. LOL. <3 :)

I got 100/100 on an 8-page paper I wrote in which I was supposed to “create a civilization” and write about all of its social, economic, and religious components.

This year, I do no homework at home, and all of it either in my other classes or at lunch (the day it’s due).

uhh… more like ever been unsuccessful procrastinating? it’s the most efficient way to do homework and not be stressed (until you’re bs’ing like a pro the period before it’s due)

Haha, my junior year I basically lived off procrastination. I had to schedule sleep and a couple meals in my day, so I was unable to complete some assignments WITHOUT procrastinating. Somehow I still made 100% on all my psychology essays, despite the fact I wrote them the day of. Occasionally I wrote them an HOUR before they were due, lol.

For the large part no. We all want to pat ourselves on the back and say “we can succeed while procrastinating” but honestly, procrastinating has made my life significantly worse in quality. DON’T DO IT.

That said, I once wrote a 7 page paper for English class the night before starting at 2 AM and finishing at 7 AM which my teacher called the best paper she had read in her entire career teaching; the one comment was “brilliant” and I got a 100. Another instance was when I taught myself AP Calculus BC in 7 days before the AP Exam and got a 5 on it and the AB subsection. So yea, I can be successful procrastinating but by and large, I screw myself over and my grades reflect when I do, and it certainly is not good for my stress levels.

I tend to start my hw at 11pm and study for tests in passing period.

I’m not one of those naturally smart, memorizes and computes everything people. I just do my stuff at the last minute, but incorporate everything needed.

A friend if mine always writes essays an hour before they’re due, and gets 5-10% better than me. When he doesn’t rush, I get good scores. Ironic. He practicallu wrote his college essay while we were on a field trip watching an opera.

Got a 91 on an AP Euro paper I had 3 weeks to do. I did it the night before, and it was supposed to be equivalent to a college term paper(: When I saw the grade, I was in shock haha(:

I take college classes during my senior year since I have finished all of my high school requirements. I am taking Intro to Teaching, along with three other classes at the college this semester, and he assigned us three “synthesis papers” to do. It was assigned at the beginning of the semester (August) and we were told that it was due November 3rd. Today is November 3rd. I wrote the last one just two hours ago. It was five pages and took me an hour to write. I was so desperate to get it done so I could e-mail it to him that I did it while I am at work… xD I didn’t want to wait until I got home because then I’d REALLY feel like a procrastinator, doing my paper that is due today late at night.

I thought I was bad! I usually just wait until the weekend before a big paper is due…
I still procrastinate, but I am getting better this year. I just don’t get how some kids can finish a paper weeks before it is due…that is insane

I skimmed The Scarlet Letter half an hour right before I had to take a test on it. Aced the essays, short answers, and multiple choice. I got the only A(94) in all the periods my teacher teaches. I’m still in shock.
