Is this noticeable in the atmosphere? i.e. Less academic/intellectual than, say Princeton or Yale or top LACs because kids aren't planning to go to grad school?</p>

<p>Not true. Dartmouth just does very well on the street as it does well in every area. For example Dartmouth is the top college in peace corps placements. It places highly in almost every category its exposed to. I would say Princeton is very similar. </p>
<p>Yes, there is a large alternative scene at Dartmouth more on the green side.</p>
