<p>The PIN number comes by snail mail. If you are an ED applicant, I wouldn’t hesitate to call up the admissions office and ask. At the same time, the whole point of the PIN system is so that you can log into Carleton’s site and moniter your application as the different parts of it (test scores, rec letters, and so on) come in, so if you’re finished with the application it’s pretty useless to you. Your admissions decision will come by snail mail as well.</p>
<p>If you are not an ED applicant, I would still call and ask, if only to ensure that all parts of the application have been received. </p>
<p>I don’t think you’ll “bother” anyone at all if you call the admissions office–you’ll probably end up speaking to a student worker who would be happy to help.</p>
