I wish you all the best of luck! Some of you will not need it, but for people like me its very important. I know that even if I don’t get in I worked really hard, and well just because you go to Wharton doesn’t mean you will be the next Warren Buffett (but it sure helps ;)).

Good Luck to all, we had a great teamwork thing going on, so it would be great if I got into Penn and got to hang out with people like yourselves. Take care.

hey, i think that those of us who get into penn should have a random night during NSO where all the CCers meet up - just so we can meet the people on here. that'd be cool.

I agree with skt2k4... but itll definetely be great to know each other...

I know CCers are outstanding students... when I first started using CC I immediately inferred that every applicant to Penn would have CC stats; but well you never know. What % of the applicants do you think have these stats?
From previous years... i know it might be misleading, but how
many CCers approx. get in?

I cant wait to hear the decision... I have a countdown in my desktop.. I hate it but I need it haha...

lol i have a locker mirror affixed to my fridge door (yes, i do visit it that often) with the days left to dec 15th in dry erase marker. i change the number when i grab cereal for breakfast every morning.

paTHETic.

and yea, idk - i didnt realize that CCers were so diff from the other 20K+ ppl who apply to penn. but idk what the stats are - i guess it'd be kind of hard to evaluate tho.

Well, I haven't exactly been here for a long time, but I do greatly appreciate the help that was given. Also, I wish everyone of you the best of luck!

lol thats a good one. Yea, im applying ED to engineering, but id still like to meet you guys. You've given me help, and im grateful for it! Best of luck to you all, both those that need it, and those that dont!

i'm probably just nervous, but i always feel that the thousands of other penn applicants that are not CC probably have better stats...
i need to stop being so pessimistic.
thank you and good luck~

i will say this though: stats CERTAINLY aren't everything. im pretty sure Penn is the one (or one of the) ivies that looks heavily into your character, and uses that as a large factor in determining if you actually are a "match" for their academic/cultural environment.

but as far as stats, id say CC'ers (excluding me, my stats are average =(...) are pretty much the top of the game, with the outside exceptions of course.

smart kids don't need boards to ask chances, they're just the ones who love to go crazy over them. its rare to find smart, non-obsessive non-perfectionists. they'll take any help they can get only b/c theyre smart enough to make use of it.
