everything but...

does it seem like we're receiving everything BUT the actual notification? i applied EE and got a likely and have consistently been getting mail from them. today, i checked my mail hoping for the letter, but found a HUGE course catalog from them, instead.

... does this mean i'm in? i sure hope so!

I know what you mean causeaseen. Everyone on this board who received likely letters has gotten everything but an acceptance letter. However, I did receive another letter from a student on Monday that said "...congratulations on your acceptance..." Hmm... I hope she knew what she was talking about, but no worries though. Historically, very few likelys, if any, get rejected.

rovee, i'm getting pretty near sure that we're all accepted. but the letter that you got, was this is the first letter that you recived from a student? because i got a letter from a student but it said "congratulations on your positive early evaluation."

... i'm getting really antsy.

I'm getting antsy too, but I'd be shocked if we're rejected after the likely letter and all this attention.

Yep, I want to echo that too. Especially since there was nothing in the mail again. But, then again, I highly doubt we'd be rejected, unless someone has done something incredibly stupid. In the letter I got from the rep, she said, and I quote "I hope to see you in our Class of 2009 :)" So... with a comment like that, I'd have to assume that the EEs are in. (Or I could be wrong, please don't take my word as definite.)

Last year 100% of EEs were accepted.

So don't worry.

causeaseen: Nope, this letter was the last mailing I've received from Wellesley, but definitely not my first letter from a student. Yeah, I've gotten those "congratulations on your positive early evaluation" letters too. Anyways, the 100% acceptance rate for EEs that wolfstarslasher posted is very reassuring.

thanks for the stat, wolfstarlasher! its really making me feel alot better. i guess we only have two more days to go, ladies...
