How many CR questions can you miss on the SAT and still get an 800? Do you have to get every single one? What are the approximate curves?

It depends on the test curve, but from the one I took in October 2005 all the following are possible:
omit one
omit two
get one wrong
get two wrong
get one wrong and omit one

Two wrong and still an 800? That's awesome.

lol heck no its not awesome. it just means the test was amazingly hard.

Harder than an average one? So on the average test, what score will two wrong get you?

Two wrong can from what I believe can guarantee you a 780 and up depending on how the curve is made and if a score of 780 actualliy exists on the curve. However, CR is known for allowing an answer or two wrong and still getting the perfect score, however with math it's a whole new story because even omitting one usually gets you a 790 so basically it's all or nothing.

Oh, ok. So it would be pretty probable to miss one on CR and get the 800?

I would say generally that's a safe bet because I know some of my friends who hit 800 on CR saw that on their score report they got one wrong, though of course there could be exceptions to this.

All right then... I don't even know why I'm worrying about this, since I doubt I can get all of them except one right... :D

It's all good, I'm lucky when I get 3/4 of them right, so...

Recently I've gotten a lot better at CR... I don't know if it was just a fluke on the last test I took or not crosses fingers

I doubt it was a fluke, though good luck with your next testing [wow can't believe i'm done with sat's now that i think about it]

haha thanks... man, I wish I was done with SATs. I don't know what I'll do with my spare minutes after I'm done :D

Oh lol, trust me there isn't that much time left over :)

haha, great :D
