Ok so for those of us in multivariable calculus, is there any kind of credit exam we can take? AP only goes up till...BC Calc. Maybe CLEP exams?

all I can think of are the placement exams at your respective college or university

How did you manage to make it to multivariable calculus in high school? I've skipped math classes and done advanced and this is the first year my school is even offering BC calculus.

my school offers it for sr's who took calc bc jr year through gifted program

looking forward to it....supposed to be easy

I'm in the same position. I did BC calc a while ago but from what I can tell, there is no high school test for how one does in multivariable. Your best option would be to test out of the class in college.

Our school offers Multivariable for those who have finished BC Calc.

A number of colleges/universities offer credit via distance learning. Math options usually extend through Differential Equations and Linear Algebra, but some schools provide more courses.

I met so many people in college who had an MVC or Linear Algebra class at their high school.

I took BC Calc in 11th grade. I was told at the beginning of junior year that I may be able to do Linear Algebra in 12th grade... but things didn't work out.. not even for independent study, so I just took AP Statistics instead.

It's mostly the private schools and ultra-competitive public schools that offer MVC in high school. For everyone else, good luck, haha! Now I'm an 'average' guy in my MVC class at college.
