hey i was wondering if anyone got in would be generous enough to share their why northwestern essay ... im not going to copy it, like ill show you my final copy at the end if you want.. i just want to know what kind of approach to take, ya know? thanks guys

Someone close to me just got into NU ed, having written beautiful essays. The important thing I noticed about her essays, including "Why NU", is that they came from her own mind and heart and showed who she was and why she truly wanted to attend NU.

You have to have enough respect for yourself, and your own reasons for wanting to attend, to write about them convincingly. That would make for very different essays from one prospective student to the next. So don't look at other people's essays for your direction. Just stop and think about what you're doing and why. If you're not sure, then take some time and think about it.

There will be real people reading your essays, you have to respect that too. How can you best engage them and make good use of the time they will spend reading your essay?
