Excellent schools that meet need ?

Hello,

I am at a Massachusetts State university right now and i hate it....i did horribly in highschool but i am doing great now.... (3.57 with a level 400 class and rest level 200+) 1890 SAT ECS-Lacrosse etc...i do a ton of stuff

What are some highly ranked schools that are known to give good need aid to transfer students? So far i am looking at Trinity college, UNC chapel hill, grinnel, and UW-madison.....It can be any type of school -LAC or large state school i dont really mind

My HS record is bad, and many colleges such as swarthmore and middlebury state that they weight the HS and college record the same regardless of credits....

any help is appreciated!!

bump!!!

Rice and Cornell give good need-based aid.

any more suggestions? i think my SAT would put me out of reach for any ivy level school

I believe Vanderbilt meets need for transfers… Lehigh seems to have good need based aid if your income is less than a certain number.

The problem is that most schools that meet need are hard to get into.

Emory also meets need for transfers, but they will look at your high school record, etc.
