<p>We looked at HP this past week. On the fence about it. seems a bit gimmicky. My daughter wants to do Physical therapy. I know the program is a few years away...anyone have any thoughts? the new director comes from Duke. Also, has anyone been accepted to PT programs? If so, where/</p>
<p>My daughter graduated from the Exercise Science program at High Point and is now working on her PHD at Arizona State. She loved HPU so much she’d like to go back as a professor at the new school of health sciences. I know Nido Qubein can be a little off putting to some people, but love him or hate him you’ll never forget him and he is actually accessible to students should they have a problem. </p>
<p>If the program is a few years away that is the biggest dilemma… My D looked at Pharmacy and was told the school was a few years off… (would have been done going into her sophomore year) From what I understand it is still not done. this is not just for HP but all schools… I worry if I am going to commit to a school and pay big bucks if they program is not fully in place. Kind of like booking a wedding at a banquet hall that is being renovated and hoping it’s done in time for your wedding… Not worth the stress of the unknown for me! </p>
