<p>I know it's Exeter and there's no such thing as a sure thing, but...amazing. I'm sure you're going off to great places regardless of what that letter said. I don't see a measly letter standing in your way.</p>
<p>I am sorry Chaos, I don't think anybody could have been more enthusiastic about a school than you were about Exeter.</p>

<p>Chaos -- I am very sorry about their decision. From the little I know of you, you will do well in life because you are bright, curious and have excellent people skills.</p>
<p>Dear ChaosTheory--I feel an affinity with you, not least of all because a close family member is a physicist specializing in chaos theory. I just wanted to let you know that one of my children wanted nothing other than to attend Exeter and applied only there (for 9th grade) with (literally) perfect scores, grades, wonderful ECs....and was rejected. She tried again the next year and got the fat envelope. If you are as wedded to the place as she was, don't give up. Good luck.</p>
<p>It;s ok Chaos. :) I must say, I thought for sure you would get accepted!!! I got rejected from Exeter to, waitlisted at 5 places, got into one, still waiting for mail from on another. You should eb proud of yourself for coming this far, and getting waitlisted at HOTCHKISS!!!!!!!!!!! :D Congratulations on that!!!! I was waitlisted at my favorite schools, SPS and Deerfield, so I know what it feels like not to get that big package! I was really counting on SPS though. </p>
<p>Chaos, I admire you for your positive attitude, persevearence, and your stats!!!! :D If I had was in charge of an elite boarding school, I would surely of accepted YOU!!! :D</p>
<p>Don't give up Hope!!!! If Hothckiss is not for you, there is always 11th grade for Exetrer, and your still waiting on Andover right!!!! :D</p>
