Okay, so I’ve taken the Dec SAT that I mentioned in my earlier posts. Probably, I did well. Left only around 3-4 questions. With proper accuracy, I think I might hit lower 2200s. But being an international, I’m very limited with my resources, all being the internet and people on CC (I’m very thankful) and pretty nervous too applying to American Universities (Sorry to those who have to read this again and again in my every thread)
So, I wish applying to a few private well known colleges. Looking at the statistics, I find that I am eligible to be applying to MIT and Stanford? Atleast based on the scores, I believe I am. With 800s in both the Physics and Math Level 2 Subject tests, what do you people think, will it look imprudent or silly for an international applying to such selective universities with the scores I mentioned? I know that essays, EC and the rest of the profile make a huge part. But I tend to work on those if I get some info on the academic part.
And I've also applied to UCSD and UCB... Chance me for them as well on the score part?

If you are full pay, then go to play, apply as many top schools as you wish. Cal and UCSD included.

Otherwise, if you need aid, you should apply to those automatic scholarship schools as a safety.

Some schools really parade around the fact that they have international students from countries all over the world. Who knows, maybe you will get in even if your application is not really great.
