I am 25 years old and currently living with my 3 cousins. We currently live in off campus apartment (each room has it’s own lease). 2 of my cousins are moving out of state and the other is moving back home. I’ve asked my frat brothers (it’s a co-ed fraternity) who need roommates and most of the people I am cool with are graduating, don’t know what they’re doing, or staying in their current apartment and keeping their current roommates. I can’t wait for people to decide because another apartment complex is running a special, no application fees, and $50 dollars off of rent, an option to move in early July 17th (which I need because my lease ends July 31), and you get to pick what floor and room you want. At this rate, more than likely I am going to have to move in with 3 randoms that the apartment complex match me with through their matching service. I’m afraid that I might get matched with people that are already friends and I will be the odd one out. I don’t know which is worse living with people that are already friends or 3 randoms. Has anyone been in this experience? Do you have any tips? If it helps it’s a 4 bedroom 4 bath apartment and we’re just going to have to share the living room and kitchen. I am a girl, and I don’t know if I should stick to the living with the same sex (like I am currently) or try co-ed?
