<p>I’m pretty sure it’s A (circle).</p>
<p>You can visualize it this way: Draw a point representing your firehouse (your origin). Now, draw all possible points that are ~3 mm away. Your points should form a circle. The 3 is basically your radius.</p>
<p>You know how with nukes, there’s a “blast radius”? Like, if a nuke is dropped in the desert, the report on it would state something like “all terrain within a 3 mile radius was destroyed.” Same idea here: draw your nuke drop point, then draw a 3 mile radius, then draw a circle around that point with the given radius.</p>
<p>Actualy the answer is B because if you draw out all the possibilities a square is made, not a circle.</p>
<p>Actually yeah you’re right. I didn’t look at the graph thing/directions preceding the questions. Thought m-distance was just some funny way to refer to distance. My bad.</p>
<p>Ya i almost got tripped up by this problem with that same logic.</p>
