Expository Writing at Harvard

For current students at Harvard: I've heard Expository Writing 20 is a required class of all freshman, and grades tend to be very subjective -- it is very difficult to get an A. If a student disagrees with what they get as a final grade, besides for talking to the teacher, is there anyone who they can bring the concern up with?

Also, what are viewpoints on Expository Writing 10?

Thanks,

My daughter got an A; can’t speak for anyone else. These articles may help

College is not like high school. While you may disagree with your grade, Professors rarely change grades. That’s true at Harvard and pretty much everywhere else.

What’s the problem? just work hard and get the best grade you can. If you get a B, it’s because you deserved it, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Nobody’s going to turn their nose up at a Harvard student who got a B.

Thanks for the advice guys, I’ll pass it on to a friend who’s taking it during the Spring semester.
