<p>I am super depressed now and feel like I don’t have any hope, especially after seeing the deferred stats from last year</p>
<p>Out of state student from west coast… rejected. Big surprise… great profile, but hard to get in out of state. Oh well… good luck to all those who were accepted! :)</p>
<p>Tabby123…it will also depend on your major. S was applying business (very popular major at UNC). Hang in there. It should be subsiding soon.</p>

<p>Really? We were told when applications are down in various departments, like business apps at Georgetown last year, acceptance rates go up. At McDonough School of Business, the competition wasn’t nearly as steep as in Georgetown College, where apps were significantly up. It’s really no different than when total EA applications fluctuate up or down, the competition becomes stiffer the more apps to that department or school overall.</p>
<p>It says I have no application for admission?! Someone help me out?</p>
<p>Tabby123. We got that very same message, too. Keep trying, the real letter will come up eventually. I realize that is a scary message to receive!</p>
<p>I still cannot get through. Seriously, these errors are crazy. I get to the “click to view decision” , the “Processing” flashes in the corner…then nothing =(</p>

<p>My son got an e-mail from a UNC student at around 5:40…and he did get in:) So, I would take that as a good sign…good luck:):)</p>
