Extra Teacher for Recommendation?

So, I had decided that my calculus teacher was the write my sole recommendation for my colleges. I chose her because I am very interested in math, she likes me, and I spent one month working with her one on one because the seniors in my school left. I don't think many people ask her to write a recommendation

The other teacher I asked to write other schools recs was my US history teacher. She knows that I could have participated more in her class and knows that I tried to participate. But a lot of people ask her to write recommendation and I at first didn't want her to write my recs because she told me last year that I could talk more in her class... My math teacher has only written good things about me, whether through progress notes or verbally... I was able to get that close one on one interaction with the teacher, which I wasn't able to get as much with the history teacher (even though I might have talked more in history class).

So should I send a history teacher rec or not? I already gave my history teacher all the envelopes for all the schools, so I'm not sure what she would say if I gave her one more form (She said she is sending everything in at once).

bump.........

if it is to an ivy-league caliber school, then it might be a good idea to send in the extra rec. Just make sure to convey your interests and what makes you tick to the history teacher. Give her a resume and the answers to questions similar to these:
1) What types of careers and schools/colleges are thinking/dreaming about?2) What are your long term educational plans?
3) Are there any special circumstances, living situations, etc... in your life that might have an impact on your application?
4) During your high school career, what do you consider your proudest academic accomplishment? Be specific.
5) List two (2) adjectives that best describe you and give one example of why those words come to mind.
6) If you were involved in extracurricular activities, which one was the most meaningful and why?
7) If you have worked, what job experience has contributed to your future goals and how?
8) Tell us about your family. What makes your family special, unusual, or usual?

etc. etc. If it is just to a school that isn't too difficult to get into (Michigan state, CSU, etc.) then don't bother. One rec. is good enough

it is georgetown, tufts, and hopkins... (only require one rec)

I applied and got in to all three of those schools. I sent in two.

will it diminish my chances if I only send in one? (if she might comment about not speaking enough even though I made an effort)... I also think I did better in calculus then history...

bump... I need to make this decision pretty soon! (like in an hour)
