Extra time on SAT

Hi everyone!

I just want to ask a question/get your opinion. I'm am eligible to have extra time on the SAT because I have an IEP. Now, the only reason I'm not sure if I should take the extra time is because it says on the score report sent to colleges that I was allowed extra time. I don't know if this will look bad or they may think I only got a higher score because of it. I have already taken the SAT once and didn't do so good. So, do you think I should take the extra time?

Thanks!

It's not supposed to say that on the report at all, because that's an accommodation for a disability. Call the College Board, but I am pretty sure it's not supposed to say it.

i don't remember mine saying that, but it might have been different for you since you did require time. however, even if you score way high with your extra time, it doesn't matter. you were correctly diagnosed and schools expect you to use it to your advantage, its there to help you.

It doesn't say it on the report and colleges wouldn't care anyways... My brother did that and it was fine.
