volunteer work hours regardless what i mantioned - 500 hours

how will u rate from 10 ?

1!!!

Please explain why?

maybe for you its a weird to sell watches and get experience, but for “BIG MEN” AS U SAID,not for CHILDREN WHO SPENDS WHAT MOM AND DAD GIVES, ITS IS VERY ACCEPTABLE.

ALSO,I WROTE OUTSTANDING BECAUSE IM TRULY OUTSTANDING.I READ MANY “CHANCE ME” AND NO ONE HAS EVER MANTIONED ABOUT SELLING WATCHES (10 000 $ ABOUT)

THATS TRULY COOL,IN MY OPINION.

Your sports will only be significant if you are good enough to be recruited to play on a college varsity team. Tennis is the only NCAA sport you list, karate and billiards will be viewed as hobbies. There are karate clubs at colleges, but generally there is no recruiting for them. Do you have a national or international ranking in tennis?

Right now, your EC interests are scattered. You might want to consider choosing one or two you are most passionate about and concentrate your time and achievements.

im not really a fortissimo guy but rather a pianissimo but “outstanding” means not like others.thats what i mean!

thanks :(

so its awful? i was very active person.

Your list is not “awful”, you have many activities. But American colleges want to see where your passions lie. Is it in science with your physics and math competitions? Is it writing and literature? Is it in business entrepreneurship? Try to consolidate the activities into a cohesive profile of what you want to pursue in college and beyond.

my passion is in PR,Marketing and Sales .Is not there seen that i have truly passion in that?

and competitions such as intelect show,Britich Council,Sales, work experience,Leadership school DOESNT COUNT?

why?

thanks again !

it counts, but just doesn’t fit the theme of your application that can reflect who you are.
U should still mention them, but write the essay about something you really are passionate about.

If you are really passionate about PR, marketing and sales, you may want to consider University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. It is the only Ivy league college which has an undergraduate business major. They might most appreciate your business accomplishments.

ok.no economics will aslo be brilliant to learn.

so from what to start concretly?

1.joining clubs (as many as possible maybe)

2.more volunteer work

3.rise tennis playing quality

also what can u write concrtly?

will it be cool if i develope my own NGO ?

DOES JOINING In the NGO counts ?

Not the best strategy. Joining a number of clubs may be seen a resume padding. The things that you truly care about will be lost in a sea of filler. Continue participating in the activities that you are truly dedicated to. Join new ones only if you can devote some real time to them. You want to present a focus. It’s okay to have a number of activities if it adds to an overall cohesive theme. If the things that really matter to you, that tell who you really are, start to get lost in the process you are defeating yourself.

I disagree with Karate being useless. No, you will not be recruited however it shows a long term commitment and generally higher ranking belts serve as role models and mentors to lower ranking belts in the Do Jang. Take this approach. Any chance of finishing this and getting your black belt? I would place priority on finishing this over joining a new club that you have no vested interest in. It’s a personal thing. All my kids are black belts with the exception of one who stopped one belt away. I couldn’t get him to finish for anything. Oh well.

Best of luck to you.

Rather than joining many clubs, choose a few which tie into your future plans, and try to develop great leadership in those. (Become predient of club, design community enrichment programs in the club., etc.)

Concentrate on the tennis only if you want to play in college on the varsity level. If you do not want to devote that mush time to the sport at the college level, you can keep it as a hobby only.

Your volunter hours already look impressive.

ok.

what about the ngo-s .is it a cute idea?

i have several questions:

is membership or foundership of NGO considered as extracurriculars?

also if im really passionate in ecology how can i improve(specifically) my EC list in that way?

Please don’t take offense at this comment–it is meant sincerely and in your best interests: your time will be best spent not in extracurricular activities, but in improving your English, which is not currently at the level necessary for success at the colleges you named.

Honestly, your activities resume impressed me, and here’s why:

-you have a passion for karate, or so I gleaned
-you have received numerous accolades in science, math, and english
-your watch-making business is unique

Something you could do to build on your passion for watchmaking and start yourself a life-long theme would be the creation of a charity having to do with watches. Maybe you could use the watch profits to give to a charity. Or, you could turn your watch business into a charity that gives a watch to a person in need every time you sell one, a one-for-one sort of deal. Does that interest you? Otherwise, you could start a club that builds on something that truly interests you and gets your fire going, and let yourself go far with this club.

Good luck! :)

MommaJ
no words,u are right.i appreciate correct remarks which are true

FrenchTitanic

ur words seem so smart and deep.i have never thought about charity with my business.of course i was giving a charity but only a 20 persont of my winning.thats very nice.
