I am a consistent hard worker in high school, and I have been receiving a 4.0 unweighted GPA so far. I envision that if I maintain my work ethic and study habits, I will do well for the rest of high school. Therefore, it is not academics that are my main concern, but my overall involvement in extracurriculars.

So far, I have been participating in mainly two areas, music and community service. I devote at least 10 hours of cello per week to my cello, and have received numerous honors and recognitions for my achievements. For community service, I volunteer as a hospital volunteer in my city and overseas occasionally, at senior homes, and work with children each summer at camps. My passion is to help people, and so I am seeking a career in the medical field. Also, I hold a position as Student Body President-Elect at my school for the upcoming year and am devoted to sports such as volleyball and tennis. I have heard consistently that what many colleges look for is depth over quantity. First of all, am I doing enough? Second, if not, then what activities should I look for? Third, if so, then what can I do to deepen my depth for each activity?

I am currently a freshman, class of 2015, so I've got lots of time to improve if need be :)
