Extracurriculars

I'm applying for colleges this fall, and I was wondering how I could present all of my extracurriculars in a way that makes it seem that I'm not padding my applications? Because I have a leadership position in all of my extracurriculars, and I have a ridiculous amount of extracurriculars.

No one says that you have to list every one. Me thinks if you’re head cook and bottle washer of 45 activities then none of them really involves that much effort.

Good, extracurricular are more important than SAT scores in my view. Extracurricular is what we really want because you need to have a non-academic aspect to distinguish yourself from others. Please show them that and listen everything you love about your extracurriculars!!

No, I’m the president and founder in the majority of my extracurriculars, except for CSF, which I’m vice president.

Ummmm… don’t worry and list the most important ones. But please don’t heed uofcpride’s unsupported and bizarre opinion.

I am in the same boat as you. I am in all but 4 clubs available at my school and am a high ranking officer in 6 of them. I think as long as you use essays to show your passion and involvement in these clubs you should be fine. Show them that you are an involved leader, not just a name at the top of some roster.
