Extremely confused

Ok. College admissions are over, and I thought that would be the start of me focusing where I want to go to. However, I am now confused more than ever.

I am certain I want to pursue a career in either biomedical engineering or if that does not work out, just go to med. school in the end. I'm torn between three schools, Case Western Reserve, U. Mich., and Carnegie Mellon, I am currently waitlisted at Cornell. I have the option of attending the engineering colleges of all these schools.

My first questions are strictly about biomedical engineering.
1. Is it considered "bad" to attend a non-ABET BME School?
2. Although Case Western is very good for BME, Carnegie Mellon is overall better for engineering and has a double major program for BME. Which would you recommend attending (not taking into account that one is abet accredited and the other isn't)? Or is UMich the ultimate "better" choice?
3. Is it perhaps more recommended to major strictly in some sort of engineering discipline as an undergraduate and then do BME in grad. school?
4. Is it difficult to get into Med. School if i major in an engineering major other than BME. ?

haha i think that's all I can think of right now. I hope these questions make some sense to all of you, and thanks in advance for your help!

Yes if you are civil engineer or any other engineer who plans to become licensened by the goverment. Go with melon they are much better. I woud do cheme and then do Bioe grad. Nope any majors can get into med school if you work at it.
