FA for international??

Okay.

I was just wondering where people give out the most financial aids to international students.

Especially girl schools, which is where i have set my heart to.

I have heard that Purnell, MPS(Miss Porter's), St. Anne's doesn't give FAs.

Anywhere else?

Thanx, guys!

That is so weird. I wonder why that wouldn't give FAs.

Onelittelepanda, I am sorry to say this
but as far as I know (and I am 95% sure), boarding schools like MPS do not give out financial aid to international students (except for Exeter)

Milton gives FA to international kids. My friend's sister from Seoul got in and only had to pay like $2,000, although she did go to SIS which costs like 30k/year and she isn't on FA.

Why is it that when I asked Milton via email, they told me that it is exteremely RARE for internationals to receive FA? The statistic they gave me was that less than 1% are currently on aid.

Jonathan - did she have a hook? I mean, she's from Korea.

As i said, it is ESTREMELY RARE for an international student to receive FA
that girl from SIS must have been an extremely strong candidate.

Jonathan, why would she want to get FA if she can afford 30K/year???

I have no idea why she would need financial aid. Also, my friend from Andover Summer Session is applying for tenth grade to several schools and is applying for financial. I'm not sure how much SIS costs, but I'm sure it's a lot.

I could get her sister's stats next time I talk to her.

im sure johnathon that SIS doesn't cost 30,000 a year
in tokyo (which is much more expensive, the major international schools cost 20K

also, chances are if she was atteneding an international school, her fathers company pays for it.

I talked to her and she said her sister got a full scholarship and she's not a US citizen.

Again, that girl must have been an EXTREMELY STRONG candidate.

Okay. How about schools that are not so competitive?

I mean, Cate_intl gave me a list of many schools, but still.
Just to be up-to-date and all that.
:)

(Guys, the tuition for sis is $20,000 a year.)
