Here's my rough draft of my "request for a special circumstance review." Does this seem adequate or am I leaving something important out? Any input is greatly appreciated.

thanks

To: Financial Aid Administrator,

I am currently receiving unemployment due to having been laid off from my job. The final check will arrive in mid-August and then I will have zero income. To attend XXXXXX this fall will require me to receive a substantial increase in student aid compared to the amount in the initial offer. The work-study and Perkins loan will not cover a full year of tuition, let alone the fees and living expenses.
I have attended XXXXXX Community College this past year and shall graduate this August with an AS in accounting This has been made possible by the states tuition waiver program that has allowed me to afford schooling. When I applied to XXXXX in January, I was skeptical of my chances at qualifying for enough loans, let alone grants to be able to attend. I recently found out about possibly being eligible for increased aid due to my dislocated status. According to the government website Opportunity.gov I should be receiving a letter indicating my enhanced eligibility for financial aid, such as a Pell grant or subsidized loans.
I have included copies of all of the relevant financial statements to support my request for additional financial aid. Should further information be necessary please contact me.

Thank You,
