facebook etiquette

ad.bc, I've been receiving friend requests from a lot of people from the Class of 2012, and it's really rather awkward.

I would much rather meet someone in person first, introduce myself, and have a pleasant conversation before becoming "friends."

I mean, even when fellow classmates, colleagues in H.S. friended me, I would "ignore" them. I always feel somewhat bad about it, but hey.

It's purpose is gossip, really: writing on peoples' walls, looking at one another's photos.
Also, be warned that Facebook is the ultimate stalking tool.

Wanna be my friend? =P

What is your facebook ad.bc?

I have about 300 closest friends on facebook and about 700 pictures (most are tagged). God forbid I feel lonely. =)
I do go through the list and delete friends if I forget who they are.

I am whatever you make of me.

I accept everyone, but I put the people I don't know/people I've met once om my limited profile.

facebook friends aren't "friends," they're more like "acquaintances"

or "people you might possibly ever consider talking to"

the name is just misleading

how do you do a limited profile?
