<p>am i the only one who thinks this facebook is overated. so many FRESHMAN are on and already have 300 plus "friends" from their school and they have not even attended one class. give me a break. i have about 40 from my school (couple i know but most just sent an invite out, and i dont really want to say deny until i meet them in person and if i dont like them will take them off my list) i have also been getting invites from just random people(i dont know anyone going to these colleges but just got invites to be their frineds.) its like come on, only put your real friends on your friends list. i like how i can see if people have similar intrests and all but this "friends" part of the site is kinda out of control.....</p>
<p>I get bored at work so I put fake celebs on my facebook. When it comes to my school, I only put people I know, but for friends at other schools I will still put people I know, but a bunch of random people who pose as celebrities. I have like 50 George W. Bushes and 35 Napoleon Dynamites on there. I am probably getting a little bit old for the facebook considered I already graduated, but until I find another job it keeps me from being bored out of my mind.</p>
<p>Actual people, I only have as friends if I'm actually their friends (sometimes I only know them online, through message boards).</p>
<p>Famous people (eg: Frodo), and nouns (eg: Beer Pong) make up my other friends.</p>
<p>I will add strangers if we are in the same dorm, have the same classes or have something in common. But I hate those ppl who have 100's of friends and expect me to just add them.Even when I reject them I get another request a day later from the same person.</p>

<p>Who really cares if other people have numerous friends on facebook. It's not affecting you in any way. Just keep your own list how you want it, and let other people use facebook how they want. Stop whining.</p>
