<p>Can colleges actually see your facebook profile? And if so, how??? I am completely private and cant be seen by non-friends. Am I safe? What precautions do people take?</p>

<p>What you should do is be sure your friends don’t post any pictures of you doing anything bad. And you cant put any pictures up of yourself doing anything bad and then if they ask if they can see it you can let them see it and it wont matter because all you will have on there is good stuff. And you could put photos of all kinds of stuff thats cool that you rilly didnt do and so then you can tell them that you travel alot even if you dont because if you have alot of pictures of like traveling then they will think you traveled alot. Thats what I would do. I have pictures of my bmx bike and sports and some cool cars and my birthday and things like that. And guess what? I just got a computer for my birthday this summer.</p>
<p>Hmmmmm. My HS counselor told me colleges can look at your facebook. I did a quick google search, and some news articles seem to verify it. <em>shrugs</em>
