Hey I'm filling out my FAFSA and i was wondering if i would get more financial aid if i say that i had a job. Technically i had a job, but it's like underground work lol...its hard to explain. What do u think?

You won’t get more money if you say you had a job (report income). You might get less.

Students get an income allowance of up to about $3500 per year, before the FAFSA formula starts increasing the EFC (and therefore decreasing the potential aid).

What do I think? I think your FAFSA should match your tax return, which should match the truth.
