I made a mistake filling out my FAFSA and selected “With Parents” as my living choice instead of “Off Campus” and I was advised by my college to fix it if I wanted the correct aid package; however, when I updated and submitted the correction it seems like nothing changed. It had the status as processed immediately after I filed it, but it still says “With Parent” on the processed SAR. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Give it 48 hours. The current one didn’t likely process immediately.
