FAFSA/CSS submission

Some of my schools require a FAFSA/CSS submission by February 1, while others have the dates in March or even April. Naturally, I would like to use as accurate numbers as possible, and the submission dates in March and April will allow me to use perfectly accurate numbers, from our family's tax statements, but this is not feasible for submission by the February 1 date. My question is regarding whether or not it is possible to submit two different versions of the FAFSA and CSS, to different schools, at different times. Is that possible, or no?

I obviously wasn't clear enough with the question. So I'll restate it.

If I submit the FAFSA now to some of the colleges I applied to, can I resubmit it with more accurate information to the other colleges I applied to at a later date?

Absolutely! That's what I plan on doing. The tax returns probably won't come until early February anyway. Good luck!

You do not submit "two different versions," you make corections to your original submission. After you submit your original, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions on how to make corrections. You log back in, make the corrections, and resubmit. It is very easy.

Thanks, and those corrections would include altering the colleges that receive it?

Yes................
