Suppose a college says their prority deadline for the FAFSA is Feb. 16. Do they mean they want the FAFSA w/ all the corrected information by Feb. 16 or just the estimated version?

I would think they would want at least the estimated version. One of my college's priority deadline was January 15. My parents just finished filing their taxes a few days ago. I don't think anybody is done filing their taxes so early. I think you're fine, but you might have to check in with other more experienced members.

they don't expect the perfect version by Feb 16.

Just realize that any FA offer you get could change if you update with significantly different figures when you have the 'real' numbers

Thanks. I too am going to enter our 2007 figures. We will be going to the accountant this month to have our taxes done. When I get the 2008 figures, I'll amend the FAFSA. We won't be filing until April 15th but I will put in the actual numbers sooner than that, is that ok? My daughter's school's deadline in March 1st.
