I'm a bit confused.
I just graduated from high school, but I attended my local community college during my senior year, full time, to finish high school early.
So I'm not that familiar with the FAFSA.
I want to transfer to a university in the spring of 2011 and I plan on taking out student loans, trying to get a scholarship or grant, and a work study.
But I know that you also have to fill out the FAFSA form to get financial aid.
Is it too late for me to apply for FAFSA if I want to transfer in the spring?

No you can still fill out the FAFSA for the 10/11 school year.

If you want financial aid during the 2010-2011 school year, and spring 2011 is during that time, you will complete the 2010-2011 FAFSA. It is available now (and has been since January 1). You should check the schools to which you are applying to transfer and see what THEIR deadlines for FAFSA submission for spring transfer students are. Adhere to those deadlines.

If it were me, I would submit that FAFSA as soon as I knew which schools I planned to apply to as a transfer.
