I know im really behind... but today when my dad e-mailed the place he works at for W2 forms of 2007, they told him that "Companies are obliged by law to send them out by the end of the month." They also said that, for scholarship purposes, we should estimate.

Is this what I'm supposed to do for FAFSA??? To estimate? Because on the FAFSA website for required document... it says 2007 tax return and W2 forms.........

Yes, you can estimate prior to receiving your W-2 forms. You will file the FAFSA using a "will file" status, meaning you will be filing your 2007 taxes but have not yet done so. Complete the FAFSA using best estimates based on end of year pay stubs and last year's tax return. Then complete your taxes as soon as possible after Feb 1 (by then you should have all of your W-2, 1099 forms) and go back into the FAFSA website and amend your FAFSA to reflect the actual numbers on your 2007 tax returns. Also you will change your status to "taxes completed" (or whatever it says indicating that you have completed your taxes for 2007).
