Fafsa, one immigrant parent

I'm having a little trouble filling out fafsa this year. My mother is a us citizen, however, she married and my stepfather is not a citizen nor resident. I know I should fill all 0's on the social security part of fafsa. He does file taxes, so I can use his information there. I was just wondering how this will effect me now and the amount of aid I receive?

If he files us taxes he must have an itin number. Clearly if your family AGI has increased this will affect your financial aid.

You will fill out the FAFSA using your mom’s SSN. You will put in 000000000 for your stepdad’s ssn. You must still however include is income on the fafsa
