According to this article (third paragraph after the bolded question), you are incorrect. That says ‘any support provided TO THE STUDENT’ is reported on FAFSA, for example if the boyfriend gave student an allowance or paid for medical coverage. It doesn’t say money paid to the mother is to be reported.
