FAFSA questions, about taxes and income

<p>So for 2010 income and tax forms, if my parents haven't filed them yet, do we use the 2009 forms or fill FAFSA out after we finish 2010 tax returns?</p>

<p>Plus, for income, it says we need to fill out every single income, including tips and whatnot.
If we don't know the income for sure, is it okay to just estimate?</p>

<p>You should fill out FAFSA as soon as possible with estimated data that is close as you can get it (use your end of year pay stubs for income for 2010, etc). Then when your taxes are done amend your FAFSA.</p>
