<p>I'm resisting filing the FAFSA as our income last year will definitely not qualify my son for any FA. So that he has some skin in the game, we plan to have him get unsubsidized Stafford loans. Do we have to file FAFSA for that?</p>
<p>Some of the schools have FA deadlines of 2/15. How do people get FAFSA done by then when tax forms (W2's, 1099's, etc) aren't even received until 1/31?</p>

<p>you can use your 2007 data and then update it. Or you can use your last paystubs of 2008 and look at your bank stuff online.</p>
