<p>I will soon be completing the FAFSA application for first year students for the 2012/2013 school year. However, in order to complete the form does anyone know if I need to know what college I will be attending? I just finished submitting all my applications so I won't hear back until late march/early april. Can I apply for FAFSA if I do not know which school I will be attending?</p>

<p>Yes, enter the FAFSA codes for the schools you’ve applied to so they can receive your information and prepare a financial aid package for you. If you applied to more than 10 schools you’ll have to wait a few days for the first batch to process and then edit your FAFSA to delete those and add the rest.</p>
