Fafsa?

<p>I have just sent in the FAFSA and it has already been processed. To my surprise our EFC was roughly $4000. Only problem is that what we put in were estimates, because my parents and I have not filed for tax returns yet as we don't have the forms. Obviously we will have to do a correction to any dramatic changes in our application, but does the FAFSA have to be in during March for Rutgers?</p>

<p>My Father will not get his tax return forms until late Feb or March, which would be problematic with Rutgers deadline. Will they keep my current FAFSA in mind or will they be awaiting our correction, only to have it possibly miss the deadline.</p>

<p>from my understanding, this was nearly a year ago so I don't quite remember, you're supposed to use your w-4 forms and whatnot from the previous year. Big name schools actually want your tax returns from this year, but it was not very problematic to rutgers if you used your tax returns from last year. </p>

<p>Rutgers:</a> Office of Financial Aid has all the information that you need. and yes, march 15th is the priority date, so they do accept late fafsas.</p>
