I'm a running start student with two classes in my high school and 2 classes in a community college. My problem is, I'm afraid my teacher will not sign my clearance paper because I've been absent for 6 weeks consecutively and only appeared recently. I'm graduating next month and I have my graduation stuff and I wanna walk to the ceremony and get my diploma. The reason I've been absent is because I'm having trouble with my personal life. When I talked to my teacher recently she sounded so apathy towards me and blames me for failing her class and she wouldn't even let me tell the side of my story. I acknowledged it's my fault for being absent without telling her but she just sees me as a bad student who slacks off. Can you guys suggest me what to do? Should I talk to the counselor and ask if I can still graduate and walk on the graduation ceremony with one failed class? What are the steps that I need to take especially with my teacher who seems to not care that I'm graduating soon and just sees my mistakes?

P.S: I have all my credits and this class I'm talking about is Occupational Ed. credit. The counselors have my credits mixed up and so they want me to take this class to fulfill my occ ed credit. Will this affect my graduation if I get an E?

Thank you.
